Can't figure out why the cuts are not very clean. Seems like the cutter is not starting and stopping the cut at the same point on most lettering, and leaving a tiny bit uncut. This is making for rough weeding. I've been messing around with blade speed, offset and depth but no combination seems...

New wipers and cap tops are on their way. I did hit the cleaning button before the first print yesterday, and the first print of the day was perfect...first time i've ever had to do that.

Printing strange colors on the first few inches of the first print job every morning for the last 3 days. After the first few inches, then the rest of the prints that day are fine. Any ideas as to why? Today's first print, and a test print from after todays print are attached. Thanks!

And why don't they carry Roland products...now I have to order ink somewhere else and wait. Same with alot of Oracal items, they get drop shipped from Oracal now. What's the point in having a local warehouse if most things get drop shipped anyway. I don't feel so bad now, 'cause now i see this...

Grimco seems to be the big supplier here, now that they bought out Tubelite. I used to have to wait for the tech from Tubelite Miami to service my roland, but since it takes weeks for the dude to arrive, I do all my own maintenance and service. Here's the link to Grimco service...

I've bought them from Digiprint Supplies, and they usually ship parts from texas. As for the left and right...i've never heard of that, just installed them out of the bag...maybe i've just been lucky all these years!

Thanks Stacy for posting this post! I have a 300v and never thought about the vacuum fan...just finished pulling and cleaning the fan for the first time in 14 years...what a difference! I had to turn the vacuum power down to half (had it at max for the last five years or so...now i know why).

Holy guacamole...lubed up the blade holder, and shes cuttin like brand new! Weeding is fun and easy now (ok, thats a lie...weeding is never fun). Thanks damon, and everyone else for your help...ive become a subscriber now!

Hey Mike, I think you need the super-deluxe (most expensive) version of VMP to print stuff. The version ive been using will let me design all day long, but will not print directly to anything. I can cut directly to my roland, but there is no print option...gotta export to pdf then print using...

My SP-300V cutting is getting very sloppy. Some solid cuts look like bad perf cuts. Seems to happen randomly, just a few spots in almost every job no matter the vinyl. I changed the blade, tried changing depth and speed...see my crappy pict for the crappy cuts...Thanks!
