Got one recently (VG3-640) - no complaints so far. I configured mine for CMYKx2 which produces fast, high quality results. Ink consumption is decent, and the operation is overall fairly easy. I'd recommend it easily over UV and Latex options for someone who is new to printing wide format.

Not sure what is causing this - techs say it may be air in the line but not certain yet. In the meantime, I'm able to print on the CMYK head only by using the CMYK Media Presets in Versaworks - I guess a perk of having 2 heads.

This actually became worse today after doing some powerful cleanings and ink refills. Not sure if air got in the line somehow but now I have to figure out how to remove it if that's the problem.

While we’re on the topic of the Roland LG - I encountered an issue today where the orange seems to be the only color printing with a smudge. Dot dropout is fine, but the orange is a bit blurry while all the other colors are fine. Any ideas on what might be causing this and a fix? Images...

Update from the tech is that the machine always has SERVICE MODE available. The auto-maintenance / cleaning on the LG640 is quite regular also - every time you power on there is a cleaning and you should shake white ink daily. Power on and off clears service mode.

I've tried unplugging and restarting. That hasn't worked - I'm currently awaiting information from my tech and update.

Actually causes some problems, including unwanted cleanings and maintenance, and a permanently spinning fan at the back. I really want to take it off. None of the sensors work either.

Recently Roland LG Truevis installed by my tech, but it is stuck in service mode. Can anyone assist with exiting service mode? Power on and off with switch doesn't work.
