I Agree 100%! That happens to us too. We just tell them that if "they" will do it cheaper, then why did you come to me? We only do quality work and for that my friend you need to pay for.

Fellers has a chemical that you can put on the vinyl and it helps break it loose...I would look into that if good old fashioned elbow grease is killing you.

I have had this problem too! I wound it as tight as I could and then tested it. It seemed to work good. I help this helps.

Roland all the way! We use the new XC-540 and I must say that it is probably the best printer I have ever had the pleasure to use! Works great and easy to use with the new Versaworks RIP. My money is on the Roland.

I have run into this problem also. We just put white vinyl behind it and it looked great! Also, if you look in the 2009 Fellers catalog I believe there is something in there for this.

By the way...we use Versaworks for our RIP. I hope this was helpfull.

We just use the standard gloss calendared vinyl on our xc-540. Seems to work fine.

I think I'll stick to tape or sewing. That thing looks like it needs a little more R&D.

I use my local bank. It seems silly to pay a third party a fee to deposit your money into your account. Try going to your bank and see what they can do for you.
