Be sure the meniscus filters are new and to spec. That is a wide meniscus fluctuation but most likely not your problem. You can watch the ink screen during printing. If the yellow goes low and stays that way for more than a few seconds you probably have a weak pump.

Have you considered servicing the machine yourself? We went through canon’s tech training and have done all the service ourselves. The Tech Service Manuals are extremely easy to follow and walk you through all maintenance procedures.
we’ve seen this happen a dozen times with this printer. Last Christmas we printed a roll of prints with a shift happening in between two print jobs. Ink settling does not do that but may also happen. We made stir stick caps and stir every day. Which rip are you using?
Does the carriage clunk when it homes to the left? There is a home tab that can get worn out and you simply bend it back so the switch is activated before hitting the hard stop.
We have seen severe color shifts on our 6300. Sometimes it happens between two print jobs on the same day. We use ergosoft and found a recalibration usually corrects the issue. We now include a test print with each job that we sublimate to check for color shifts. We are in the process of...
