    I suggest you get a trial version for Caldera. It's a very robust rip with the option of building custom profiles for all types of media.
  5. Not enough details in shadows after profile.

    If at all possible try to create the profile using a spectrophotometer that allows you to read the target in a backlit mode (Barbieri is an Italian product-very efficient at it). Also try different renderings, such as Colormetric and or with Black Point Compensation.
