  1. Can't combine, Cant Show Fills, + Parts missing in Cut/Plot :(

Thanks for all of the suggestions. After some sleep I believe that Mark's "Silly answers" were just what this silly man needed. I think the problem must have started when I imported and used part of a previous design. It turns out that there were some dark blue ares in my black design. I...
  2. Can't combine, Cant Show Fills, + Parts missing in Cut/Plot :(

It's FlexiSIGN-PRO 7 I got tired of fooling with it and saved and shut down. I hope I can salvage it though.
  3. Can't combine, Cant Show Fills, + Parts missing in Cut/Plot :(

I've been working on a new design. I'm pretty much done with it but I must have done something wrong along the way. When I click on the design it selects everything. Combine is disabled. I guess I already combined. Anyway, If I click "Show Fills" nothing happens. And if I try to cut the...
  4. Attack of the Jaggies!!! - LYNX S-60

I resized and recut and it is perfect.:thumb:
  5. Attack of the Jaggies!!! - LYNX S-60

I wasn't expecting that. I'll be sure to check the size before cutting next time. I'm still wondering exactly what I did differently so that it won't happen again. Would/could importing an image produce different results in sizing than just opening an image?
  6. Attack of the Jaggies!!! - LYNX S-60

Well.. the saga continues I decided to redraw by hand one of the graphics that I had autotraced from a photoshop file before. When I had cut the vinyl before it was about 34 inches long and was a perfect fit but had come out with jagged edges like I said. So I imported my original photoshop...
  7. Attack of the Jaggies!!! - LYNX S-60

Well Fred, I just wanted you to know that I spent the day learning how to draw in FLEXI and the results are simply amazing. I now have super smooth perfect cuts that I can be proud of. Plus the job finished cutting in less than half the time. I really love the "Optimize by curve" It took me a...
  8. Attack of the Jaggies!!! - LYNX S-60

I see your point. Thanks Fred. I'll redo it in FLEXI and see if that gets rid of my jaggies.
  9. Attack of the Jaggies!!! - LYNX S-60

So, I guess I should just be designing directly in FLEXI for best results? I went back and checked the graphic I just cut and the original resolution of the graphic was only 72 pixels per inch. I had enlarged it somewhere along the line to 300 pixels per inch and forgot that I had done so. So I...
  10. Attack of the Jaggies!!! - LYNX S-60

I am designing graphics in Photoshop and save as PSD files. I open the PSD files with FLEXI and autotrace. But when I cut the design on my LYNX S-60 I get tiny jaggies on anything except a straight line. :help:
  11. FLEXI with Lynx S-60 & SERIAL to USB

    Good idea. ;)
  12. FLEXI with Lynx S-60 & SERIAL to USB

Yeah, it's got the manual screw type adjustment. I'll play around with that. Thanks again guys! :)
  13. FLEXI with Lynx S-60 & SERIAL to USB

WooooHoooo! :U Rock: Thanks Dustin! I bought the 25 pin null modem adapter #26-1496C I reset my serial settings to 9600 bps, 8, N, 1, with hardware flow control. I had to turn everything off and reboot before it worked but it does work now! :thumb: Now my biggest worry is that I have over 6...
  14. FLEXI with Lynx S-60 & SERIAL to USB

OK, it's worth a try. I'll let you know how it turns out.
  15. FLEXI with Lynx S-60 & SERIAL to USB

I installed the drivers for the cable and it seems to be installed correctly. No conflicts or anything under device manager. I might note that before rebooting my computer FLEXI could not open the port to send the job. But now it appears as though the job is being sent but the cutter isn't...
