never.. just let the backer dry it will lay down and no prob with pullback if you didn't cut vinyl to deep. Let the backer dry each time.

Mine was sp300v, You well have to email or call them for the right Linear part number. have you googled THK linear. SSR-15XW that was my part number for the 300, yours prob different.

What you could of done was just layered it right in shop leave first layer on backer, juice up first and second layer sides real good I use water-cheap- maybe one drop of dawn dish wash and slide your decal right in position. Go head and take transfer off,vinyl sticks real good vinyl to vinyl...

Sound like one of your linear bearing might be sticking, probably your cutter head. Does the cutter stop moving.If it does push on it real lightly and see if there is any resistance, it doesn't take much to make it disconnect.

Well inside your linear bearings their is a plastic bearing chain that will break and stick in certain spots. My little sp300 was doing the same thing. You can get bearing for about 80 to 100 bucks, you can do it yourself,just don't be in a rush.I even had to take end cap off new bearing to keep...

Used roland sp 300v is what you need to look for, great little printer. Low maintenance.
