  3. is printing lime greens: possible??!! frustrated!!

I know this is an old thread but YES you can print a vibrant lime color on you SP300. Use the Roland Spot Color Library. Nice lime colors start at RVW-PR06K through RVW-PR09G
  4. Printing grey scale

Roland black ink has much to be desired. We switched to FieldCenter Inc. JEP ink set on our Roland machines and we're happy to report that for three year we've been achieving near neutral grey with using Roland Swatch Library.
  5. How do I increase density (ink deposition)?

By assigning spot colors to the design (vector only) through Roland's Color Swatch Library, you can change the color call out for that particular color within the rip.

  7. Roland - J-star Ink?

Hey Francis- Why do my chips on 440's read empty when there is half of the ink still in the cart? Could I have possibly received 220 chips by mistake?
  8. Roland - J-star Ink?

4 month follow up on J-Star Inks from Fieldcenter As of today (Sept 14th) all is well with the inks and have encountered no ill effects of running the J-Star brand. Perhaps one more manual cleaning per week than with OEM ink but that's it. Colors are bright, especially the greens and reds...
  9. Pictures of MX bikes you made graphics for!

Last week's KTM for a local hotshot racer.
  10. Sp540 roland spitting.

Yup, I get those too if I run large jobs with heavy coverage. A simple manual cleaning and we're good to go again.
  11. Favorite Quote from a Customer Today

I deal with art directors and designers on a daily basis and often hear these comments: Can you add more "drama" We need more "snap" on the image How about we "pop" this area
  12. Roland - J-star Ink?

Who gave you the word? As it is now, the fumes are pretty bad. I'd really like low or zero odor J-Star carts.
  13. Roland - J-star Ink?

7 weeks since I made the switch to J-Star ink and these are my impressions: The Good 1. No fuss no mess change-over. Installed without flushing. 2. Colors are fairly close to OEM and only required minimal color profiling. All profiles were consistent in change across the board from media to...
  14. Roland - J-star Ink?

Warranty period is past on my Roland so I thought I'd give them a try. Ordered my first set last week. 440ml for less that the price of OEM 220's. I'll post my findings when I've used them for awhile.
