It is a type of uncoated canvas. But if the machine has option to exclude OC from printing, that should answer my question very well.

I would like to ask, does the HP Overcoat make the printed result glossy in any way? Is there visible difference with or without it. We'd like to see the same result as our HP L25500 in terms of non-glossy printed surface

No, Sir, I see no visible leakage. I just replaced the two ink cartridges I had taken out during printhead replacement - with new ones. But LC is not one of them. So this cleared the error, and I see no ink and have cleared none. only now it does not recognize the cartridge.

So basically, I had used cartridge in. During broken bag problem removal - I put a new cartridge. Cleared error. Then it initialises, but does not recognize LC cartridge. Put in a second new - Still not recognised. Recognizes neither of the two new cartridges, nor the used one, nor an empty one...

Hi Sir Did you manage to solve the issue? I am having a problem with not recognized LC cartridge (After I cleared a Recovery Bag error); I try reinserting new full cartridges with no effect. This is L25500

Printing

Naturally HP is best prefered, since we have experience with it. We are just worried in 4-5 years these consumables for these current models will be discontinued also.. Hope next year HP comes up with some newer budget model

Yea, I read about yours. Wish you best of luck. We're not loaded with as much work, currently still utilizing L25500. However we need whatever we print to last - not for colors to fade after an year indoors, for example.

Can you share any information on the durability without laminating? We have Latex prints that stay indoors and are satisfied; is it worth exploring other options in terms of machines? Afraid hp latex durability can't be beaten. What do you think? I didn't see comments on the forum regarding this

Myself looking for options to replace L25500, though it runs perfectly... We are looking into Roland and Mimaki options; our jobs include mostly print on matt paper and canvas. 115 seems cheapest option; might service us well. Will see how things turn out! Glad to be part of this forum,
