We ran a 400mm test this morning. Measured it out and had off settings. We adjusted until the 400mm test came out perfectly.
The settings were under #adjust. We changed them to dA= -3.5 and dB=.5 with the angle being 0.
We then test printed 12 3.8 inch circles with a 10pt outline to test for...
Since we're not using another software for everyday single orders we have to stick with Wasatch because it works with us the best.
The problem we continue to run into is there is constant shifting or tilting of the cut job.
say you're looking at 6 circles

We are now getting wonderful results with our big orders through finecut.
We've come to the conclusion that Wasatch doesn't communicate well with our plotter and causes it to skew.
We are a company that is based off single orders. Someone will order the American flag, and someone else will...
Another Question.
We set up the sheet on the plotter. Straighten up and then select the marks. We hit remote and then go to CorelDraw. In Corel when we pull up the Plot screen in finecut the "Size" option doesn't match what our plotter is saying when it asks us to confirm the A and B settings...
So, we're now running a job in finecut, that we were running through wasatch. The files are coming out a little better. We're doing 6 rows of 17 and the first 5 decals of each row are good, then the middle few skew downwards in a noticeable fashion, and then it clears up at the end of the row...
Printed 32 5.5inch decals. They all came out perfect!
A couple of questions. How do I set up cutting start and stop points? and what exactly is this stroke weight thing?
Also. We laminate our sheets to make them last longer. Anything I need to watch out with that? Like any settings I would need...
I've started cleaning pinch/grit rollers regularly.
In response to DirtyD,
That sounds like a good plan to me. Will definitely try and do that on my next print job.
Do you know of any good FineCut 8 tutorials? I'm new to it, but I think it may work better than Wasatch
Basically, we're trying to do what this guy is doing.
