Does anyone have a recommendation for a Braille inserter other than the one from Accent? I recently purchased a new one to replace an old one that has been wearing out. The new one arrived defective but the company expects me to pay for repairs.

Hm, I'll look into that. I had increasing issues in the previous room as it would get hot as heck in there. Have since relocated the whole shop to a much better space that I can keep fairly cool and the problems have been much less.

I have always had mine set at 1 inch height using UNION-1 with no issue. I assumed there was a setting somewhere in my inherited software that somehow got changed in all the reinstalls but for the life of me I can't find anything.

Yes, sorry. These are the raised text (tactile) for ADA signs. The UNION-1 font used to appear as the outer contour of the letters. But now it appears as a single line in the center of the letter form. Even if I plot the cut I still get that line instead of the full letter form

After moving my engraver to a more appropriate room and then having a power hiccup that knocked out my software I am back up and running except my Tactile font. IT uninstalled and reinstalled my software and fonts... now the UNION-1 I have been using for 7 years for my tactile signs is wonky...

I've been using a Roland Camm-1 for a few years and its time to replace it. I do a variety of applications but nothing too large so a 28 inch cut area is just fine for me. At the moment I am looking at Laserpoint 3 arms and Vevor kw-870, they appear to be adequate for my needs. Anyone using...

Who is the vendor?

They are large (almost mural like) signs for the main plaza of the University. My smaller versions are about 60 inch, frosted plexi panels that are mounted with standoffs. I thought if I can find something that has the same frosted plexi look, I could use a frame instead if it's thinner

Does anyone know of a decent vendor, that ships or delivers to the Memphis TN area, and carries extended sizes of frosted plexi glass? I have been using P95 Acrylic for our signs but am in need of much larger pieces, upwards of 12 maybe 14 feet. It seems to only come in 8ft lengths.
