Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I've not found installing frosted film dry is very unforgiving, but I'm going to give a test panel a try. If it turns out crap I'm farming it out! :)

Hi everyone I have a client that wants some frosted window vinyl installed, not a problem but there are some very fine/thin details. I usually install by wetting the window and then the vinyl and sliding into position and then using the squeegee to get the liquid out. The fine details will not...

Update: it worked out really well, I used a razor blade scraper, insuring I removed both the mirrored film and adhesive film layers. Then I used adhesive remover, cleaned the windows and applied the frosted vinyl. It took way less time than I expected. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

I hadn't started yet, but wanted to find out, what people use. I've installed it a lot but never had to remove it. The client wants to replace it with frosted.

Thank you so much, I was planning on using heat but I have never used steam before, that looks like a game changer! It's been dang cold up here so have been waiting as I didn't want to use heat on a cold window for obvious reasons. Thanks again!

I have some printed laminated Arlon vehicle vinyl that I have had stored for a few months now, would it still be ok to install on a vehicle or should I use newly printed only? How long can you store printed vinyl and still use it?
