Thanks for the answer, balstestrat! As you said, replacing the trailing cable indeed resolved the issue I was having. I just wanted to pop back in this thread with a resolution in case anyone Google's this question. I also replaced the printheads as an added measure, so now it's printing perfectly.

Strangely enough, I did a force drop detection (among other print quality tests) and the printheads appear to be healthy. Could it be anything else?

I appear to be having two different issues here (or maybe they're related?). The first image shows some pink/yellow ink, which I am assuming is a bad printhead malfunction? Never seen this happen before. The second image is showing some off-color banding starting only from the side that slowly...

I've only been able to load rolls, not cut-off pieces of a substrate. I didn't know you could bypass that function. Even then I need 5+ feet of material at a minimum to get it loaded properly.
