You might need to loosen up the rubber band on the spindle so it can grip better, I have done reverse wherre I have to tighten and trim them to keep them from getting stuck on cores.

Get an Avery/Mutoh Traffic Jet and use thet. Running reflective on the KAtex machines sucks back. You can't raise the head height and will deal with head strikes.
Miesel in Dallas does a lot of dye-sub, used to run prints for funiture row, johnston. & murphy, eddie bower etc. I guess they are actually north of Dallas now.
