Grimco is the only large supplier in my market these days. I got a plastic dealer to start dealing with Avery where I am, they don't deal with ink or equipment though.

Bell & Howell via Grimco had a guy come out to do the smk3 a few years ago, their tech didn't remove the heater/curing unit to full clean it and I had this problem after. Find a real tech who know printers who will pull it off to clean it properly.

You might need to loosen up the rubber band on the spindle so it can grip better, I have done reverse wherre I have to tighten and trim them to keep them from getting stuck on cores.

Get an Avery/Mutoh Traffic Jet and use thet. Running reflective on the KAtex machines sucks back. You can't raise the head height and will deal with head strikes.
