    I have an old 6042 and that whole unit should just pop out. thumb on the front fingers on the back grip it, wiggle it, and it pops right out. Replace it with a new hose and unit. The gears on top, now that's another story

    We had this issue 3 months after installation. (white head) Lucky for us it was still under warranty. It seems like a common problem with these as our tech confirmed, they should treat it like cars, since they cost as much as one. A factory recall issue and should extend past any warranty.

    Accucutter 13" 15" Guillotine with fab Co air assist is what i use it has been running strong for 20 years they now have newer versions https://www.accucutter.com/shears Makes very fast work of it. It's not cheap but will pay for itself in man hours not wasted.

    Have you looked into UV direct to film transfer sheets> AKA UV Gang sheets... I use mimaki 6042 hd (old) with LH 100 inks with clear I also have mimaki 6042 mk2 running 150 ink (flexable ) 120 would be best for you.. full color you can run hundreds in min depending on size its a sticker per say...
