We are at the point where we have lost faith in our machine. They basically upgraded us to an apex 3 by swapping out a lot of our apex 1 parts with apex 3 parts and it still had issues. They slowed down our acceleration to as slow as it can go so now it's slower than our axyz but seems to have...

Does anyone have any experience with this company? We are looking into a channel letter bender/welder and I came across this company on YouTube. I'm impressed with the videos I've seen but just a little worried about buying a machine from a company I've never heard of and based out of china...

The camera on the Mulitcam is a cognex camera and it uses coreo or enroute.

We use both Enroute and V-carve. We prefer V-carve but Enroute is the only software that allows us to do a print and cut with the camera. Do you have a multicam?

I see what you're saying it definitely has more of an abrupt/fast change of motion compared to the AXYZ. I still wonder about the noise and vibration though. It's so much louder than the AXYZ!

We've had a multicam apex 1 for about a year and a half now and have had many issues with it. The biggest issue we had was the cut quality. At random points in the cut there would be chatter (see photo). They couldn't figure out the issue for a really long time and I want to say they made three...

I've also used this at 80ipm on some 1" foam and it worked pretty good A51427-K Amana 3/8" Spektra Upcut Bit

I would recommend something like an onsrud 52-325 and run it around 15,000rpm at 80ipm. You may have to slow it down but I would start there.

Yeah I already do that and have a busch mink vacuum table. I guess what I'm after more is bits and feed speeds.

Is there a smooth way to cut polycarb? Every time we cut it we have tons of vibration and it doesn't hold down to the wasteboard very well.

Actually I failed to mention that most of our sign cabs are indoors. I'm not sure about styrene outdoors my instincts say that it'll become brittle and possibly turn yellow. But I could be wrong it would definitely be a good experiment!

Yeah we do the exact same thing with the 3/4" clear. We put the vinyl on the back of the letters. We normally use translucent styrene to put behind if we need it.

We would be printing a solid color to mount on push through acrylic letters
