What are you using for CAD? I'd check supported GPUs for your specific software, as usually for CAD it'd be the ADA cards and not GeForce, particularly if you want support from the vendor.
Casey would be close at around $2,900, and probably a better bet. I agree though that the VRLA is overspec'd with MB and PSU. Changing those in a DIY setup would be a few hundred cheaper.
Now, personally, I generally don't like workstations from Amazon because you have a lot of third-party...
What's your use-case for it?
Also, given the specs, warranty, and all that, I think it's a pretty decent price. Parts would be about $2,600 to DIY, so $400 more for someone else to do it plus warranty is pretty good IMO, but again, depends on use-case.
Good Lord! (though it was the Lord's favorite font back in the late 90s - early 2000s, at least according to every church in the Midwest.) You should post this masterful design. I have this conversation with my wife occasionally when we see Papyrus in the wild on the rare occasion, and it's...
I'd see if you can copy the install files from the flash drive to a folder on your Desktop (e.g. OnyxInstall), and then run the installer from there and see if you get a different result. Also, right-click on the installer and Run as administrator. If you need more help, post here or PM me.
I'll affirm Google Voice. It's free, has its own app, will make and receive calls BOTH through your cell carrier and via wifi through the app itself, you can SMS via the app, it's pretty easy to use, and may be a good solution as you venture out with the engraving biz.
You've been doing this for 10 years and it hasn't seemed to be a problem up until this point... What's changed? Everyone has chimed in with some good ideas of what you could do, but what do you actually want to do, what are you willing to do? The best idea tends to be the one you actually DO...
Yeah, having a "single source of truth" is important, especially when you hire and scale. Hiring tends to be a good motivator to get your stuff together!
With those Epson, it's my understanding that the web interface is pretty limited and meant as an avenue to configure the network settings, but you have to use Epson's other utilities for anything else:

On the accounting side, my business is pretty simple - service-based with no products/inventory/COGS. I use Wave for accounting/bookkeeping/payroll. It's free, integrates with bank/credit card to import and categorize transactions, handles invoicing, and then I pay for their payroll...
I think I'll pass on the "hawk" thing, sounds a bit predatory, not to mention that'd make you all rabbits or squirrels, which seems kind of weird. I'll be helpful when I can with the experiences, knowledge, and resources I have, no strings attached.
Now, the people who tried to sell me solar...
I serviced an Epson Stylus Pro 4900 a few years back (non-Epson tech here, but can fix stuff and follow the directions in the service manual), and I had to buy the service program off of eBay to complete the repair. Seemed a bit sketchy, but it did work. You may want to look there if you feel so...
Ha, probably the #1 thing I see. Sales rushing to get to the next client give half the info, leaving PMs, Design, Print, Fab, Install all going WTF?!?!? Get in the habit now and it'll save you $$$ down the road, especially if you begin to scale.
