    I checked again.. you're right, maybe the OMAS is fine but the cable is what's broken? I assumed the OMAS wasn't working because we went through a few ink spillages due to an unrelated problem (now fixed) and it got a lot of ink spilled all over it and it's circuit board so we assumed it died...

    I checked the service manual and it tells me 50 means it's an error corresponding to the OMAS Sensor, 03 just means "try restarting"
