I have a Roland VP-300 and I switched to Bordeaux inks. I buy the 440 ml cartridges from Pacific Coast Sign Supply in Portland, Oregon for $69.00 each. Bordeaux ECO 440 ink cartridges work just as well as the Roland cartridges, and are a lot easier on the pocketbook.
Thank you ALL for your input. At this point, I am going to have a look at the Mimaki 24" and 30" machines to see how they stack up. I'm beginning to think that the Roland desktop may not be the printer for me. We'll see.
My question was: "Has anyone used the Roland VersaStudio 20" BN-20 desktop inkjet printer/cutter? If so, what do you think of it?" Have you used one Auto-FX?
Seems to be a lot going on there. Do you need the "MA?" Maybe do something with the speaker. Like MikeSTK says: perhaps you could incorporate the speaker with the name, or something (without the box).
He misspelled "designed" on his home page. I quote: "A well-deigned set of signs -- you'll notice I used the plural, meaning more than one..."
Enough said.
Try "RICK'S" in the script font and "ROOFING" in the bold sans serif font. It seems to me that the word "ROOFING" is more important than "RICK'S." Just a thought.
