Hello people, Just changed a mainboard to dgen tx 1377 TX ( Roland FJ740) When turning power on, it gives a SUM ERROR. it needs a firmware because it´s blank.. but I can´t find correct one from Roland webpages. Is there anyone who could help me to have it? bw Riku

Hi, There is something wrong with your capping station sensors. Turn on your printer with Service mode and go to the Test-->sensor test maybe there only some dust on sensors optical eyes.. hope that this helps..

also check 2pc of fuses on the mainboard with multimeter..

Or there might be a small fracture of the head connector.very common problen when changing very old dampers..

I have noticed this kind of error , if cable is not decent.. or when you cleaned head with cleaner , are you sure that cleaning solution didn´t "fly" to the Head PCB ?
