  1. Anyone recognize this font?

Thank you for your fast reply!! Unfortunately now I'm going to feel obligated to work this weekend.
  2. Anyone recognize this font?

    Need help recognizing this font.
  3. Weeding small labels

I have had good luck with synthetic liner vinyl from 3M--7725 series. I also try a drag knife cutter instead of tangential, which seems to be more effective with the synthetic liner. You'll have better luck with a high-tack transfer tape also. I also put in cut lines (it's a lot easier than...
  4. Applying then clear coating over vinyl on concrete

Anybody have experience applying vinyl to concrete, then applying a protective clear epoxy coating? Client is going to apply epoxy to the floor, then wants their logo (not printed but cut vinyl) applied before coating the surface with a clear coating. No forklift traffic, just people. This is...
  5. Gerber Dimension 200 - Sitting for 20 Years

Artpath is 32 bit, so consider that if you buy a new computer. I have a Dimension 200 but no vacuum system. I cut 6mm black Sintra and taped it down to the bed, then used a surface router bit to make sure everything is flat. I use the ear plugs not for the spindle but for the wet vac. Anyone...
  6. Barbie!

    Did you get her autograph?
  7. Anyone recognize this font?

    I think that's a winner! Thank you!
  8. Anyone recognize this font?

I think that's way beyond what these people are capable of (the illustration is a low res image off the internet). But I'm going to take your info and recreate the word. Thanks for all your help!!
  9. Anyone recognize this font?

Sorry for the fuzziness. That C is a hard one.
  10. Wall of Shame

Paint and wallpaper for commercial/public spaces has to meet flammability requirements by code, and the additives that help limit flame spread also prevent vinyl from sticking. Guardz would have worked, but it's too late now. I agree with the banner idea, or using a house brand of ACM.
  11. Discussion Boudica...................................

Is it true that if Mama Cass Elliot had given her last sandwich to Karen Carpenter they both might be alive today?
  12. Kerry testified before the House Foreign Affairs Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee

I believe the climate is in a warming trend and SOME is man-induced. But spending trillions to make us more dependent on other countries for energy is madness. We can't even start to get a handle of climate change until we embrace more nuclear. How much did temps on average drop during covid...
  13. Cutting ACM

We use a stomp shear--very clean cuts. Also have a panel saw for long cuts. In a pinch I've reverse mounted a saw blade and had pretty good results. Does leave a mess, and then I take a sanding block (80 grit) to knock down sharp edges.
  14. Need Help Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 Zero VOC Interior Latex paint - no stick!

I won't put any vinyl on any painted surface that hasn't been pretreated with Gardz (a Zinsser product). It's clear but can change the sheen of the wall somewhat.
  15. Envision 375 cutting issue

The only place you're supposed to keep lubricated are the "rails" that the cutting head travels on. If the ovalization is occuring in the y direction that could be the problem.
