yeah, slow and steady as she goes.
I'm using the summa cutter control but I would prefer to cut directly from Gerber Omega but the calibration has offset from that app. ah well...
We purchased this plotter about a month ago but did not get a knife for sandblast resist until yesterday...what a day..lol.
You are correct, it is a D60...tech support tried and tried. Right now at a speed of 60mm/s it gets it done. Whats the price diff between the D60 and the D750 out of curiosity?
yup, slower speed and moving the rollers on the grooves helped. I spent all day talking with tech support but to no avail :(
your help is greatly appreciated, cheers!

I was (thankfully) given a bit of a break on the design station portion of this promotion, due to fact I wasnt upgrading but purchasing Omega 2.5. The design station is an away from home (read:laptop) application that cannot be used for printing or plotting. I dont know about the free tech...
Just an update. I chose to go with Omega 2.5, which included a design station (perfect for travelling sign work). My decision was based solely on my years of experience with gerber. Thanks for all the helpful info!! :)
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
- 2NinerNiner2, agreed! fifth element rocks!.....glad your sister is enjoying the island life. I just had a friend move out to montreal two weeks ago.
Mainly for use with a 15 inch plotter for sandblasting materials, HS-15 etc...
whatever I can find.....
I read that Flexi can handle gerber .plt files as well as run on a gerber plotter.
Am I incorrect with this?
