When ever I've seen this error, it's related to the meniscus. If the filters are no good, there is no negative vacuum keeping the ink in the heads.

Most likely the meniscus is the problem. The filters for the meniscus are the white disks in the print carriage. If you have spares, try replacing those, should take care of the problem if its filter related.

If you go thru Epson, yes its expensive because they only use 1 company for service, but anyone that sells Epson printers often have they're own techs. You should be able to find someone closer to you easily.

The 2 closest techs would be in NS most likely. Grimco and Spicers both have Epson techs, its just a matter of if they have them there. A nozzle test would be great to see if its head related. Damper can be the issue, but make sure it clean inside machine, clean the media guides, check capping...

Try a full power cycle, not just normal shut down. Power it down, unplug it, hit the power button for like 10 seconds. Plug it back in and try restarting it. These codes should only happen during debugging, not normal operations.
