To doublecheck I just spoke with Roland, the Vs-640 is confirmed to be supported in Versaworks 6. Edited to correct the information.

I know this is an old topic, but the VS-640 will certainly work with Versaworks 6, you should be able to upgrade Versaworks and use both with no issues.

From the looks of that, you should absolutely perform a Flushing Position Adjustment and get those print heads better aligned with the cap tops, you can see the outlines of where they normally sit and it is indeed off by a fair amount.

Thank you for that, I have tried contacting them multiple times to confirm but have heard nothing back. The fact that their site lists them as having 13,000 in stock doesn't make me hopeful they actually physically exist there unfortunately.

I am looking for anyone who has one of these available and wants to sell, either new or off of a junked machine, do not care about used parts. Roland has none in the US it seems and I do not have any estimates on backorder dates/availability. I have reached out to a few aftermarket suppliers...

Have worked on one recently with very similar issues, ended up with an entire replacement printer unfortunately.

Are you getting any service errors? Have you confirmed the fuses are blown with a multimeter at all yet?
