    I use a Sooper Ace, it's pretty good. Top is for the hats and the rings go on the bottom. Pierces the vinyl too.

    I bought a used one as well - no one around here uses them, so I took a chance on one that was for sale. Turns out they're pretty great machines, I would even say they are far better than any RS :) Clean 'em up and you'll likely be golden. Also: I tried using the hot function, and maybe it's me...

    If you're handy with a soldering iron, it's likely just a bad cap. Saved myself $400 by doing this on a hp printer last year ;)

    Too bad you couldn't adjust the percentage, rather than completely disable it: / I do enjoy the auto-load feature. None of my Roland cutters did that.

    Wow, please share where you got them. They are ~$70 USD EACH from the Summa dealer (NDG) in Canada! A little cheaper ($50 USD ea) at DigitPrint : /

    There are a lot of places! BIG PRINT, PROCESS COLOR in Calgary... SINALITE, 4OVER, etc, online.

    Pretty wild how much those dinky pinch rollers are... I thought Roland's were expensive!

    Inspect the pinch roller frames for cracks... It can happen. Also, I'm assuming you've don't the crop cut alignments? How long is the print? I only do a yard at a time of grouped decals.
