Nothing wrong with most of the third party inks sold by distributors. I've used Marabu and Rite Media, and even interchanged them without any issues

For the future... Check out AliExpress. There are a couple of vendors that sell really great dampers, cap tops, and pumps. The only issue I have had is the ink pumps come dry. And so do the exact same units from DigiPrint, for double the cost. But I just open them up and coat everything in pure...

I think Roland is the only roll option anymore. Other option is running adhesive backed paper though a laser printer and trimming down.

I used Marabu ClearShield on a roller when I did aqueous canvas prints.

And then you're having to come back with a new scaled down graphic. That's what I've heard anyway.

Take off the covers and check over everything. while still and then when printing. Dirty belt / gear, dry rail? Debris? Could even be the scan motor...

I just used CA glue and let it sit overnight, but you could use epoxy as well. I also just twist-tie the switches and tape off to the sides if I ever need them to operate ;)
