    No where have I compared any technologies! and yes if you take what I said out of context then you could assume that, but any person reading what I wrote in a thread about inkjet printers would know that I was comparing the build of Roland and HP inkjet printers... Not companies as a whole....

    Has anyone printed on Luminescent Vinyl before? Whats the best ink to use? I've got a choice of Solvent, UV or Latex. I haven't seen the artwork yet, line art or full coverage. Cheers Damo.

    Do you have to laminate it? Avery DOL4000 is what I use, if I have to, for flat windows. A question for those that lam, I rarely lamiante one-way vision going onto cars, how do you get it to conform to the shape of the rear window.

    Personally, having used Roland SP 540 and currently using a HP Z6100, Id stick with Roland, HP's are not industrial!

    The silvering line you get is from where the laminate and backing paper separate. As you come to the end of your laminating run, slow the takeup winder down so that the backing paper drops down with the laminate, but obviously don't allow it to go into the lamiantor.
