  2. Suggestions Quieting a LOUD Colex SharpCut vac table?

Had no idea about that/had forgotten about that until I came back to this thread. Sex little mufflers under there, but still loud.
  3. Creative ways to make money with CNC

Do you also have print capability? We print floor graphics and contour cut them, with a drag knife attachment. We have a flatbed cutter with router attachment and two other tool slots. If you're only able to route, maybe you can partner with a local print shop?
  4. Small Run Die Cut Magnets

Sounded more like I was responding to his question than advertising. Apologies.

  6. Discussion A Prince fan who prints.....see what I did there?

We had a little spare time and some extra Falconboard. Prince was honored by Pantone through a custom shade of his favorite color, purple. My wide format operator put together some white and some black Falconboard, along with our EFI H1625 LED and Colex Sharpcut, to create one oy my favorite...
  7. Suggestions Quieting a LOUD Colex SharpCut vac table?

We've struggled with the same. We have made earplugs available to those in other areas, if they choose. When it comes to routing acrylic, we just grin and bear it. My operator wears hearing protection when routing, or using the oscillating tool for a length of time. We though about acoustic...
  8. Camera and flatbed cutter timelapse

Been thinking about mounting a small camera on or near our Colex CNC flatbed cutter to record timelapse videos or just cool videos to post to social media. Has anyone done something similar?
  9. I think I may have downloaded some form of malware...what to do

Malwarebytes has a free version that works pretty well. If that doesn't do it, I also install Spybot and scan with that. The combo usually clears out any troublemakers I have.
  10. Efi H1625 Led

I would like to update my recommendation and ask a question. Firsty, I understand that a successor to this machine is the 16H model, which uses print heads from a different manufacturer, and they do NOT require liquid cooling. This is big because the coolant pumps for the H1625 are $800 to...
  11. Sign Promotion Ideas during this pandemic?

This was a social distancing floor/wall graphic that we created, but we haven't sold any. We have installed several around our plant and posted the photos on our social media.

  14. Need Help Cutting multiple sheets on the flatbed cutter

Worked like a charm. sorry it took a while to report back. I don't like when I see that on other forums. This'll save us lots of time.
  15. Need Help Cutting multiple sheets on the flatbed cutter

Thanks everyone, I will check that out on WinCNC (or OptiScout, I forget which, since I'm not the operator.)
  16. Discussion New HP Latex 570

The paper company we purchased from did do some cursory training on the printer AND Onyx, but it was roughly half a day. It got us printing, but often this is the challenge with a new machine: we don't know what we don't know, so coming up with the right questions isn't so easy. It's been a...
  17. Best source cnc blades

We have a Colex Sharpcut, which has worked well for us. My operator says that the blades for theCoroplast tool (https://www.colex.com/product/coroplast-corrugated-knife/) have been really brittle lately. I'll provide feedback to Colex, but it's also helpful to know if I have other supplier...

So, as we approach the end of the year, how has it gone?
  20. Stay CS6? Or Upgrade to CC? What am I gaining?

The thing about CC is that once that promo pricing runs out, you're stuck at $70/ x # of users, forever. There's been zero retention specials, long time customer appreciation specials, no price adjustments, no sales.
