i bought ink from china for years but it became too much of a hassle. their business practices are not quite up to american standards, so prepare to be stiffed a few times... i swicthed to image specialists, at $80 a liter, it's a great price and the quality is much better.

here is a real life example taken from an email conversation 5 minutes ago from an established client. THEM ME THEM I guess i did help him...... to understand how to do it right!

that's pretty much a given, that's how business is done. however, the original question was they are not looking for a sign that's worth what they are willing to pay, they are looking for a sign package, at a price they have dictated.

so your advocating making multiple designs for a customer, then find out he only budgeted $200 for signs, cuz there only signs...... in my mind the budget comes first, if you tell me you didn't budget enough to pay me, i probably won't call you back, you would be wasting my time.... time that...

about a minute... that's about how long it takes to cut the material off the machice and take it over to the laminator. 100% serious, never a problem. some of my stuff is on national TV, i'm never worried it's going to "de-laminate", whatever that might be....

when help means giving away work for less then normal pricing.... then it's not the same help as some mean it....

Help is when you see someone on the side of the road and pull over, help is when you see someone down and give them a hand, help is what rich people call the people that work for them. you do not charge for help, it is something you give. i'm in the business to make money....

if you go out to dinner and want the lobster but can only afford fish and chips, do you ask what can be done about it??? can't really understand the question, i'm not out to help my customers.... i provide a service and expect to get paid what i ask, if they can't pay it, they are not...

i've dug way too many holes without calling , but as i get older, i won't anymore, just not worth it... i dug up some sort of communication line years ago(more like decades), nothing came of it, but it's simply not worth the hassle.....

what would i pay? whatever you charged, cause my brain would explode and it would take me ten times the time you spent to make it look half as good. but if i had a client need and it had to be done, i'd tell them it would run them $200....
