The problem is a 64-bit Vista. The 32 bit Vista works fine. Neither Roland nor Graphtec are compatible with 64 bit Vista, only 32. You would need to upgrade your Flexi to 8.6 and everything will work through Flexi

Shame the only downside to all of this is a voided warranty right? LOL

Could also be the size of the file you're working with. Is it all files or just a certain type? This is also going to sound a little nutty but are you using Flexi also and are both programs open? You wouldn't believe how many people have experienced lock ups and crashes when both programs are...

i just recreated the image using IMPACT with a slightly thicker outline welded to it to thicken it up...then I arc'd it and drew the cracks in flexi..took me 10 minutes

I have heard a great deal of commentary over the Mimaki JV3, and for years I have seen them try to produce something close to the Roland. Now while I have heard more POSITIVE things about THIS Mimaki, you may want to ask yourself this. It's taken Mimaki THIS long to catch up to the VP models...

Depending on whether your dealer can provide you with really great technical support or not, Roland Vinyl Cutters now include a FREE copy of Corel Draw until the end of May. But like I said, you're going to want to go with a dealer that can not only support your Roland PROPERLY, but Corel as well

Unfortunately, alot of dealers are dealing with this issue as manfacturer's have not released updated drivers. I hate to sound like the typical sales rep here, but one solution that seems to be the easiest way around it is to buy Flexi. They are fully 64 bit compatible

There is a color chart your dealer should be able to provide you with a full list of color codes and swatch colors to ensure you that whatever color you choose from the chart would be what you get on your print

Upgrading to 8.6 for Mac would be a more realistic option if you want to really get it to work properly. let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Hmmm Haven't heard that one before. If the graphic contains smaller fonts and highly detailed lettering you may want to try to change the offset of the blade. Sometimes force has nothing to do with it as much as the angle of the blade. Try increasing it slightly and see if that helps. To save...
