Thanks for the input gentlemen.
Hows the thickness and washability compared to the FDC?
I notice it says: **Note: After printing, 2-hour dry time is recommended before masking material** Is this even if we are going to use it immediately?
I have been looking at these from my distributors. Any opinions? By the descriptions alone I am leaning towards Sihl.
Sihl 3197 T-Printz Fabric Transfer
Specialty Materials Heat Transfer ColorPrint
Roland HeatSoft
Thanks in advance:thumb:
I think that was my point Big, Denco reps are not going to talk positive about a product that they cannot provide or service. You wouldn't talk to a Ford dealer about Chevy's. Don't get me wrong, I really like Denco and get many supplies from them.
I think Advantage also stocks DOT approved and pre-made signage. http://www.advantagesgs.com/Products-Store-SignSupplies-Vinyl-Banner-Ink-Printer-Paper-Foils-Tape-Software/Traffic-Signs
You hope they are scratches. Scratches can be buffed. You will be able to tell by the color of the "scratches" usually. If it looks light colored "white" it is not all the way through to the base coat, If you can see a black or dark hairline you probably cut to deep. It also depend on if it is...

My Roland PC60 was the same way. There was something with the DIP switches that would make it go a little further, but I pretty much planned around it and spliced or section many signs.
I remember the first time, it just sat there cutting a straight line back and forth over...
Mirror image on clear vinyl, print inks in reverse with white flood coat last or mount white vinyl to top.
Just a thought. Good luck contour cutting it though.
I used a smooth FRP Sheet scuffed and contact cemented to our table. Sourced a used Kick Press and Consew from John Harb. Got our self piercing dies and grommets from King Richards. Kick Presses are the BOMB!:thumb:
