i've also noticed that matte is more forgiving especially when using an eco or solvent ink. If the print accidentally hits inks to ink off the machine the matte seems to stick less often if at all to itself whereas gloss is almost an instant stick.

At least double your cost plus shipping. I would even do a 2.2 markup in case there is a mistake that needs them to get redone. If you have to have them redone at your expense at least you still made a little bit.
