Depends on the design of what you're trying to cut. All vector or combo? All Raster? Offset contour or "kiss cut"? If all vector select all copy, ctrl+f (Paste in front), unite. That's your cut line.

Why not just leave it as vector? Why the need for 1200dpi or 600, for that matter?

do you mean you had 1200dpi raster squares that you were trying to convert to vector? Vector files have no dpi.

Wow, we quit using finecut to do our registration marks. We use our own coreldraw macro/s to set up the print/plot right from each workstation.

There's a whole lot more to know than just applications alone. The best way to learn the various programs is one on one sessions or tutorials. Corel is, by far, the easiest to learn without too much intervention. Yeah, gonna get a lot of flack for that but.... Ask questions on the specific forum...

Oh, I see. We do 99% of our own printing, application and cutting. On occasion we send out to have signs at that size and was just curious how the vendors would set it up to do it.

Can't just export as pdf? The other print shop should know what to do from there.
