Well, here's hoping they kept the ink circulating the whole time to prevent it from clogging up. 40 or so liters of flush later...
  2. Need Help PRINTHEAD NOT PRINTING CYAN OR MAGENTA! - FUSE KEEPS BLOWING? XC-540

Guy last logged in six years ago, maybe they figured the problem out already.
  3. UJV300DTF-75 Announced and Priced

https://www.mimakiusa.com/ujv300dtf-75/ Looks like Mimaki is finally catching up with UVDTF printing with a rebranded UCJV300-75 with an extra take-up roll for the adhesive backer removal and laminating rollers. Seems the inks are modified LH100 for white/clear and LUS-170 for color, unsure if...
  4. Counterfeit Command Strips?

3M stuff is counterfeited like crazy on ebay and Amazon. Sometimes it's good, usually trash that fails instantly or in short time. Or worse, isn't temporary and can even stain things.
  5. Mimaki JFX200 Color Bending Issues / Nozzle Drop

Dude's all over the place reviving threads, I think I am sitting this one out.
  6. How Retailers Are Using Digital Signage to Boost In-Store Engagement

  7. Looking for generic Ink for Ricoh Gen 5 Heads

Converted one over to use generic STS Lus170 compatible ink a while back, but I think I had to mess with head temp.
  8. Changing ink type

  9. Mimaki JFX200 Color Bending Issues / Nozzle Drop

Wrong procedure, that's for scan, not feed. On the road, will look up next week.
  10. Mimaki JFX200 Color Bending Issues / Nozzle Drop

It's a feed compensation setting not being correct. See how the cyan and the red (mostly magenta) are all banding at a regular interval? Heads are firing fine, just passes are slightly too long and you're getting a tiny gap between them. Also, we have a Mimaki section in the forum at...
  11. Changing ink type

Just need to reset the machine basically, what ink type are you moving to? If going to 150, flushing the machine and changing filters is reccomended.
  12. Machine Reading "Y over current Ave" when in use.

Might just need a new motor, but make sure the carriage is free of obstructions.
  13. Discussion Would you fire this employee?

I mean, if it's still a question, the guy must have either gotten or worse or improved in the year since this thread started.
  14. Need Help JFX200 White Ink Alignment Issues

When people tell me they adjusted head voltages on a Gen5, I know for a fact they need new heads and probably screwed up something else in the process. Usually, people have issues with air in the line or dropout issues, and they start messing with that stuff. While older heads with manual rank...
  15. mimaki cjv150-75 and summa s2t75 with flexi complete

Odd, I use a similar workflow with different software. S120T with a Mimaki UCJV300. We just use VinylMaster to export a PDF to then toss into Rasterlink for printing. While not Flexi, similar concept, just need to check your output settings for the print.
  16. Epson Dropped the Ball big time with Epson G6070 release

Apparently there was patent drama on the Epson chip front with STS, they have nice inks for those heads, but DRM is the mofo it's designed to be.
  17. mimaki cjv150-75 and summa s2t75 with flexi complete

Might be on wrong layer if exporting as PDF.
  18. Mimaki Cutting incorrectly

Ahh, just need to run calibration likely. Print and cut Mimakis love to drift when things are changed or over time.
  19. Why is it that 80% of the posts are "issues" with digital printers or printing?

  20. Why is it that 80% of the posts are "issues" with digital printers or printing?

Air rifles make for terrible paint brushes.
