If you're talking about the black drops, those are drops of black ink, most likely coming from a piece of thread or fuzz stuck on the print head/carriage somewhere. The fuzz collects ink mist and then drops it on the print.

The font has them but your software has to be set to use typographic (curly) quotes rather than straight--if it has that capability. But if your software doesn't you can just type commas and then move them up.

I know that 3M historically invented a lot of the vinyl products we use. But in my experience, the 3M products have been inferior, whether cut vinyl 30 years ago and now, or print media. Especially their calendared materials.

I feel that cast is probably overkill given the longevity of the ink. I think our printed faces with the MPI2050 are lasting as long as flex faces we get that are UV printed and have UV coating. Most times the sign face outlives the business itself....

I use an S80600. I use Avery 1105 and have not had any trouble with the ink not drying. I don't use any delay. I don't think the ink will dry when rolled on the takeup reel. But it does dry when I remove it from the takeup roll and stand on end loosely rolled. Prints that fit on the table or...
