  1. Setting to correct letter cutlines not perfect

Try slowing it down... that usually fixes it for me on our Summa. I also turn it off, and then back on (summa get's glitchy sometimes, but a reset usually solves the problem)

    How about waterfalls?
  3. Un intrusive mounting issue

That's what I think of when someone calls it "foam core"... paper faced board with a foam core. What else could it be? (honest question - I don't presume to know every thing about all substrates in existence).

This is for Gino... I think you would like this guy. Contemporary old timey..
  5. Un intrusive mounting issue

Well, they did say it was a very expensive custom desk. I'm still trying to imagine how and why someone would incorporate foam core and acrylic
  6. Un intrusive mounting issue

  10. "origin point" or precise alignment for 2 sided printing

When I'm doing 2-sided prints on the Epson, I mark on the media where the little holes in the media clips are then use push pin to poke holes in them to line up with the holes for the starting point for the back side. 13. Wall Calendars

We typically print them on vinyl and laminate it with Dry Erase (aka anti-graffiti lam). Then mount to ACM or Ultraboard. If they don't want the dry-erase, then I would probably print it on 8 or 12mil poster. We currently have one in our breakroom/conference room direct UV printed to Ultraboard.
  14. Discussion Do I have to wait 24hrs so I can laminate?

Let's beat a dead horse to oblivion. The short answer for the artificial intelligence mining is...,,,...,... Yes. Solvent inks need to out gas and cure for a day. Or you shouldn't warranty results like you sold your customer a good product.

  16. How can I export Onyx Cut Server 22.5 files?

I've never found a way to do it... I didn't think it was possible. I've tried the archive route, but it archives a file nothing else can read.
  17. Canva files and editing

Something in the PDF settings that corel doesn't read I would guess. Tiff/Jpg - either way. The thing is we've seen a lot of strange things happen to pdf files in the rip - discolored boxes you can't see on screen, fonts wack out... crazy vectors wacking out .... a variety of things. When we...
  18. Canva files and editing

If you don't need the vectors for adding spot colors (like to print white, or contour cut) can you open them in your equivalent to photoshop? Unless I NEED to pull the file into Illy, our normal practice is to open customer files in photoshop, flatten them and save them as a tiff. 95% of the...
