Right now its 28 degrees with humidity sitting at 56%. All we have are 2 dh and 4 fans on the ceiling that just push the hot air around. It doesn't help that the printer and both dh's produce which raise the temperature.
I'll look into the exhaust fans and maybe some portable ac units.
I don't think he doesn't care. He just doesn't seem to understand why it's important.
The bay is the main sign shop where all the vehicles are wrapped and signs are made. Then we have an office building that holds all the office staff and small format production. Only 2 people work out of the...
I believe tis roughly 60' x 30' x 16'. We have no windows. Just 1 man door and 1 14' bay door.
I suggested the room when we first got the building but got turned down.
I've tried doing that :/ if he isn't actively seeing the repercussions he ignores/doesn't understand.
I've been keeping a log of all the wasted material that's failed because of the heat/humidity to give a case as to why we need some sort of solution
I need alternatives or solutions to cooling down a big bay. The boss doesn't want to invest in AC so i'm trying to find some options that I can present to him.
We currently run 2 dehumidifiers that help with the humidity and we have 4, 5' fans that help circulate the air. But its just pushing...
I was wondering if you made a decision with your ac? We're having the same problem in our bay but the boss doesn't want to invest in AC so i'm trying to find some options that I can present to him.

Cast vinyl for sure. Anything that requires some sort of wrapping should be used on cast vinyl, because it has the longest longevity and is less likely to fail then a calendar vinyl which doesn't like to bend. If your printing we use Arlon SLX+ Series. Or if it's just black cut we use the oracal...
We use the Graphtec 9000 and I LOVE IT.
Pros:
- Will work with ONYX RIP and their opos system.
- Has a setting called Line Segmentation. This means when it goes to cut a printed file it will only scan the first 4 marks and then plot everything within that square, then once its done that section...
We use Nekoosa Drywall Vinyl. It's 6mil, doesn't need laminate and it's designed to go on painted surfaces. Nowadays it's hard to find a vinyl that stick to paint due to all the silicone. But this one seems to work well
The shop I work at just bought a used mg640 and I can't for the life of me find any profiles for it.
I'm used to latex printers and this is my first UV printer so I'm not sure if this is something that uses profiles.
I've done a gradient print test, from light grey to dark and it's coming out...
The company I work at just recently bought a used Roland MG640 UV Printer, and I can't get it to print any colour correctly.
I have 5 years of experience running latex printers but this is my first UV printer.
I've done all the cleanings, shaken all the inks, and tried different materials and...
