I have some dimensional white acrylic letters going outside and stud mounted. Would you paint the acrylic white for added protection or leave unpainted?

The KIH is cast aluminum letters that will be back lit.
They want the blue lines to be front lit.
The problem is the blue lines are only 1/2" wide. They don't want to compromise on the size so LED is out.
I'm wondering if the lines would look okay using neon or...
It's on my desktop but how do I get it to come up in Illustrator under "file"?
I installed from the Graphtec disk but it ended up on my desktop and not under "file" in Illustrator.
Can't get a hold of Graphtec and of course Grimco( who sold us the plotter) has no clue.

Hello from Indiana, first time poster, long time member.
I am in need of 1500 decals that need to be split backed and printed on an ultra metallic vinyl and die cut. We don't have the ability to split the backs.
Does anyone have these capabilities?
