I'm doing a digital print on white translucent printable material that is getting mounted on lexan and then it will be housed in a SignComp type light box.
4ft. x 8ft. My question is: Is it good practice to have the Roland overprint the digital print. (which is of girl staring out the window)...
Looking at a 4ft. x 10ft. Alupanel sign. Going to use a SignComp Frame
to slide the Alupanel in. Just wondering how I'm going to install the sign and frame on the vertical Aluminum siding. (see attached pic)
Called Fellers, and Wensco's Sign Sign Supplies to look for a roll of window tint. The Tint needs to be 48" width by 10 yards or less. Does anybody know of any venders I can order this product from directly?
Thank you
In advance
Trying to set up a print job that is suppose to be double sided.
Attached is an example of what I'm trying to accomplish.
Just wonder if I flip something in Versa Works or Not. Do I sheet cut after the first side is printer or still keep the print on the roll.
I have a document that is 82" width x 94"L. I'm going to be splitting the graphic into two panels 41"W x 94"L mounted on a piece 4ftx8ft .020 styrene that will need to be cut to a panel size of 41"W x 94"L (qty. 4 cut to that size)
The question is should I set this graphic up in VersaWorks...
cartridge is empty. On the machine it shows the black ink cartridge as having zero bars left BUT yet it is still printing black. I thought once there weren't any bars left the ink cartridge was empty. Does a VP 540 ever forget to tell you its out of ink. Maybe I'm to over concerned.
piece of printed vinyl that a Roland VP 540 can handle with just the 4 print & cut alignment marks added to the print. Because the Roland Manual says "When you want to perform automatic alignment with lengthy media, we recommend performing output with the data separated into sizes that are as...
If you load banner material in the Roland, but you pick a profile like
Glossy Calender and set it to print and cut the banner type material.
I don't know if that would be good for the blade.
Just curious.
Besides 3M material. I have a trailer that is at least 15ft. long by 8ft. h
the graphic area is going to be 60"x45" what material would be the best to do this on. Some sort of Bubble Free but, what brand and what millimeter.
• Ok have about 3" in front of the print and about 3.5" in after the print
• Print is set-up to print in the middle of the vinyl.
• I have print cut align marks checked in Versaworks
• Has to be sheet-cut to run in the laminator
• Reload back in VP 540. iT NEVER PROPERLY READS the print cut...
Ok Im working in Illustrator CS3 opened a .jpg graphic used an auto trace
converted it to vector printed to Versa Works when it reached the rip it turns to grayscale. What am I doing wrong
that could cut 1/8" 4x8 centrum board I've been printing 22x28 prints
cold laminating the prints, then using the laminator to stick the 22x28 prints to the board but the slowest part is cutting them down by hand with the OLFA Knife. There has to be a better WORK FLOW FOR THAT.
hmmmm.
