I have a partial roll of film that's 3 years old. Still plenty sticky when you peel back a corner. Can I print and install on an interior block wall and expect it to last? 3M tech bulletin says 2 year shelf life. I'm sick of making 3M executives wealthy.
Anyone know if this film is compatible with a Mimaki JV3 running ss2 solvent ink? It apparently works with a Seiko solvent ink according to 3M, but the JV3 is untested.

I am applying some IJ35C to some bare aluminum panels to retrofit a backlit cabinet. How should it be prepped to insure long exterior life? The 3M tech bulletin says the film can be applied to metal, but does not say how to prep. Wax and grease remover? Isopropyl alcohol?
