I going to try the Gun oil it's easy to get at most local Canadian Stores. :Canada:
If it doesn't work I can always lube up the gun and shoot the Printer.
We have a RS 1651 and for over 3 years it's been a very versitle machine. We use it for Thermal melt hot laminate as well as Pressure cold. I would buy another it's a good value machine.
I was thinking that most good light synthetic oils would work. My main concern was the heat in the print area and how the oil will react like getting gummed up and such.
So i was just about to order a new bottle of Oil and was told the HP supplied oil is over $200. for 3.5 oz !!! :omg:
Does anyone know of a subsutute for the factory synthetic oil or can you tell me what you are using.
This is the similar configuration we used, our electrican suggested it and it has been trouble free. The HP latex L26500 is a good move ours has been a good work horse.
I have a HP l26500 and have used many rolls of Ultraflex 18 oz with no problems until now. The last roll I received gave me the same wave pattern you speak of, I tried several different profile setup but no luck. I moved the roll onto my Mutoh 1608 and it printed perfect so it leads me to...
We purchased a HP 26500 latex 6 months ago use Onyx 10.2
I have nothing but good things to say about the 26500 it has done really well with every job we have thrown at it so far. We also have a Mutoh 1608 which is a big waste of time and money the 26500 was the right move for us.
