    Still need a cutter? We have one (attached specs) that has been used less than 10 times. Nothing wrong with it. It's under power and you can test it. We're in Denver though...asking $40K

    @ Dan - did you get my PM? Just checking it's hard to tell if it sent.

    @tcorn1965 - thanks!

    $16995 - reasonable and roll-based = easier to automate label application.

    The output would be reeled then sent to a separate laminator and then then to a separate die cutter. Rapid Label Systems only sells the labeler and they don't seem to have any particular preference for laminator but I'm sure anything would work. Too many print heads? New tech...

    What do you guys think of MemJet printers like this one that Rapid Label Systems makes? http://youtu.be/uZgBG4eG2aY Thanks, Chase

    @ 10sacer I have looked at the Indigo series and considered flat bed alternatives, but both may be out of our price-range and quite honestly will exceed our requirement of 1-2M labels per year (or about 4-5K per day). I also have workflow concerns. A line of sticker output that can be...

    @ iSign Fair enough. I've been trying to answer everyone's questions of me so that it doesn't appear like I'm just trolling/taking from the forum. A lot of ABS/molded products that are sold in the U.S. come from China--specifically Zhejiang. We charge around $1 per chip retail. Reach...

    @CheapVehicleWrap The labeled chip is a product we can offer at half the cost to meet demand for promotional purposes. The dye-sub chips aren't going anywhere.

    @ CustomGrafx - something like this maybe and then fed in to a rotary die cutter? http://www.rapidlabelsys.com/?gclid=CISmk4ulqKsCFSYZQgodY1hUKw

    CustomGraphix, The labels will be the same size...for each run. Some are 1.25", some are 1" - and some may possibly be larger at some point. I would prefer to die cut them, but I haven't found a decent solution.

    ColoradoSigns, The chips we'll be using are specifically designed for labels. The term in my world is an "inlay" - basically a label. http://pokerchiplounge.com/custom-gaming-products/custom-printed-poker-chips/custom-inlay-poker-chips.html That's a link from our competitor.

    Speed, fast drying/laminating/cutting is important. White/metallic ink support is not necessary for our purpose, but I appreciate you bringing these features to my attention.

    Custom_Grafx, Thank you for responding. ColoradoSigns seems to use the latex HP. I've certainly seen a few threads on it! Chase

    Hi Jon, I'm actually hoping to get some advice. Our area of expertise is the internet retail/software side of things. We actually sub the production of our major brand to one of the largest casino chip manufacturers in the world. They use a dye-sub process and transfer our user-generated...

    ColoradoSigns, We're neighbors. I'm up in Fort Collins.

    I should probably add that we have done a lot to automate the dye-sub pre-press and print process, BUT we haven't done any inkjet digital printing.
