I'd never even consider it. I have a separate cutter for vinyl and sandblast mask. That stuff is heavy and has to be brutal on the pinch rollers, motor, etc. Don't know if you've ever seen repair prices on the printers but, I'd invest in a decently priced standalone cutter and let the printer...

Probably not what you're looking for but...I've done an image search on google or yahoo before, found other premade kit images and traced and scaled the parts to fit. It's alot of measuring but at least you have the raw shapes to go by.

I've actually found that in many cases the generic profiles that reside in VersaWorks (assuming you are using versaworks) work better than the manufacturers profiles. Again, definitely the case with the Arlon stuff. The generic cast profile works better for me than Arlons GT profiles.

I have that issue with my VersaCamm if I'm using material that just came in or has been stored in another area w/ different temp, humidity, etc...particularly with Arlon products. I learned the hard way that the material need to be acclimated to the room where your printer works.

It's a vector file. This file prints fine on IJ180C, another roll of 4560GTX, general formulations 222 and everything else that I have in stock...so, I tend to believe that the file is fine. I've had this issue before with 4560GTX but it went away and I never knew what I did, if anything, to...

I've had some slight issues before when using a new roll of banner material...could it be the weight of the roll? Not sure what you're printing on. If it's a new roll, try spooling off enough to almost reach the floor and keep an eye on it before it pulls back tight. Just a theory....?

This comment will most likely generate a ton of responses, but... I get by fine with a 54" daige laminator. Granted, it took about a year to figure the darn thing out and get it working correctly but after that it's doing fine...and probably a third of the cost of a nice, name brand laminator...

yep. I use the Convex material w. their matching laminate and cut at a force of 200g and lower the speed to around 10ish. Use a 60* blade and you should be fine.

I know this is gonna be a mainstream, basic deal but I can only find variations of this font and can't seem to find the exact thing. Looking for the font for the word "Raceway" Any help would be greatly appreciated. I swear I've seen it in the letterhead collection but can't find it when I need...

Can't seem to find this anywhere. I know its basic and I'm pretty sure I had something close at one point but I can't dig up anything that will work. Looking for the 'Jammin Jimmy' font.

I run banners w/ the "generic banner" profile on high speed and they fly out of the machine w/ good quality...never had a problem.

I'm kinda with you jimmy. I frequent this site several times a day, just to browse mainly but also for help or input. I started doing signs/printing,etc. about a year and a half ago as a sideline to my already up and running screen printing biz. Now it's probably a 50/50 split between the two...
