Haven't heard of them but we run Nazdar 202 series in our Roland XR-640 and love 'em. All you gotta do is switch out the old cartridges as they empty out, and they print amazing. Considerably cheaper than the Roland inks as well.

Really beautiful work! Has good flow and a nice color pallet. Only thing I could critique on is the drop shadows on "Wrecking"... With that wave in the text, it seems like the drop shadow should be on the Left side of the letters but just my two cents :D

The differences between the glossiness of the stock ink and the matte finish of the Nazdar inks are pretty dramatic but not easily shown in photos unfortunately. As of now, after using the inks for a couple months, we are super satisfied with them, and no issues as of yet.

CJ1, We have similar taste in finishes! We have been trying to get a better matte finish to our banners and canvas prints and found that the new Nazdar inks (for Roland printers) work great for this. The inks have a really rich color, and we've noticed after using them that we get better color...

We do printed slit-backs on our Roland. It's a bit of a process- Feeding the vinyl through the printer with the back side face up, we apply a repeating pattern and then kiss cut the backing. Once the sheets are feed back through and printed and perf cut as normal, you now have a finished decal...

General Formulations has a great 6mil Clear that is perfect for decals and large labels. We use it frequently for product labels and auto decals. Just a word of warning though- you will need to play with your ink density and colors as the print will be semi-transparent on the clear.

Have you tried dividing up the art into the desired panels in Illustrator? Then you can simply print and cut each panel as it's own job, and would likely help cut down on waste material.
