It is not me, it is the client who asks for extra saturation. But I see I can convert ICC into internal Printfactory engine and there I can boost saturation up to 20%, if it will be requested. For now, my only concern regarding 40610 it is the drying time of the backlits and consider to buy the...

I've got my print samples today. Vinyl: much better quality than HP Latex. 6p Hq is slighty better than 10p on Latex 310. 8p Hq way better. Scratch resistance, on the other hand is way lower. Backlit: 12p is selable at most. 16 p is OK, less saturated tha my 200% HP profile but very good for...
  6. Life span of the HP 360 and 365

316,750.30 ft² and 284,469.24 ml of ink since 2017. But it is a 310 machine. 3 SMk3, one belt and some o-rings on Optimizer line. 93% to SMK1 (85% last year, same time). Still prints good but I am in doubt if do the SMK1 or pay for a brand new 40610.

On the HP 315 I do 10 pass on most vinyls, 8 sq m I guess, rarely 8 pass. 16 pass on backlit. So 13 sq meters the same vinyl will be a good improuvement for me. Thanks for the info.

Can you elaborate, please? Why and how much sqfeet/sq meters / liters of ink for each head? Smell is not an issue: HP smells also, not to mention the fog when it prints with a lot of ink.

  15. Looking for Software Alternatives

Latex 310 & Summa 120D combo here. Flexi (subscription) user for a few years but getting tired of the bugs. An attempt at Onyx GO, but I hate the workflow. Now I'm using Print Factory (subscription, also) and I am super happy with it. A very good layout tool, the best I have till now (also a...
  16. Magenta starvation, HP 310 printer

Long story short: it was the ink cart. The serviceman showed me a HP memo with a serial no of bad batch magenta and yellow inks and the simptoms were very similar with mine. Strange enough, the serial writen on the cart was different from the serial reported by the printer in serviceplot. So...
  17. Magenta starvation, HP 310 printer

Rant: can it be heat related? It is hot outside and hot in the printer room. I have a portable AC pointing to the printer but it is still very hot, almost 86 F/ 30 C. Update, a big storm cools the things down in the office, now there is under 25 C. But I am not abble to print a thing, banding...
