I did that. I think that's what caused this. I just looked up the firmware and it's no longer compatible with ecomax 2. So I have a bunch of ink that's not compatible due to the firmware upgrade and I have no way of downgrading the firmware.
Hey guys we did a flush and cleared out the third party oem max2 to swap OEM max 2.
I tried doing a ink fill now it keeps saying "ink not filled" and won't detect my ink cartridges anymore but it was detected earlier when I was doing powerful cleans. Help!!!
Hey everyone. Anyone know how to u lock the head on the xr to soak the head? I have a vs and it pretty straight forward by just pushing the head to the right when it's off. But on the xr640 it doesn't work. Any help please.
Thanks in advance.
Hey guys. Wondering what you guys would do. I can purchase a used soljet pro3 xc540 for $3750. Theres nothing wrong with and everything works fine. Or I can purchase a used soljet pro4 xr640. It was working but they got out of the business and it's been sitting for 6 months. I did a test...
Hey guys. Just an update. Thankfully It was just the dampers and not a hairline crack on the printhead. I was able to change the dampers on my own. Thanks to Jim for sending me the service manual. Difficulty of changing the dampers was about a 7/10 ...keep in mind I've never done it...
I redid the test. Printed cyan file until black banding appeared. Printed cyan and green. There was banding at the beginning and then it faded away and started printing solid. Did the test print. Cyan is all over the magenta
You may have to change the print head fuse. This happened to me, I blew the fuse because i was at the end of the roll
and it stopped rolling and my print head just going over the same spot. After that nothing printed, I changed the cap top
dampers etc and it turns out it was just the print...
another thing i noticed when I did a manual clean i did notice that i can see little droplets of cyan ink
on the print head. Do you think the dampers can be part of the issue or does that mean theres a micro crack on the head?
