  1. R5070L Glazing on prints

Yea we had that problem from the start as well, but we have the spacer installed. it doesn't seem to be condensation as such anymore, but more like a glaze as if the ink wasn't fully cured? But I have tried it even with heat settings up against and still see that. I will say it disappears when...
  2. R5070L Glazing on prints

Good morning, Our company has 2 locations with an R50 at both. We recently had an analyst out to help get one of our printers dialed in as far as heat and optimizer settings. We have that machine pretty close now, although I'd say in our experience it isn't much if any, better than the HP800W...
  3. Best RIP? Most Reliable? Fewest Problems?

Jumping in here a little late I realize, but I'm VERY glad to see there are some people out there finding Print Factory and utilizing it! We switched to PF several months ago and have absolutely never regretted the decision! We were using Onyx Thrive for years, and had used Flexi before that. PF...
  4. HP Latex 800W

Yes they do offer white ink as an option, I have 2 of the S80 here and we have found the white to be majorly lacking. that's one thing I will give HP, they have found a good opaque white! Just hope they continue to improve the quality of their machines to go along with their cutting edge tech!
  5. HP Latex 800W

Just check past forums for comments on the 700/800. They definitely did not have a bullet proof printer at that point, and as I am currently on my 3rd 800W, they still are far from bullet proof. My printer has been down for 2 weeks since they installed the enhancement kit. It was working fine...
  6. HP Latex 800W

If it was on a R5070L it could only be for an indoor light box. You can't do a day/night print on the Resin unless your sticking 2 layers of vinyl.
  7. HP Latex 800W

My apologies for being so late to the game here in my reply. We use the IJ180mC-114 profile that HP has in their system. We did modify some of the settings to make it work good, but it's been great for us! We actually usually print 100% white, but yes these prints do take a very long time. We...
  8. HP Latex 800W

I had not heard about this. I will definitely be checking it out though! We just purchased a second year of warranty because with as often as it breaks down we knew it'd be worth it sadly.
  9. HP Latex 800W

I agree they have been very hard to get service from even with our machines under warranty! But so far, we haven't found another roll to roll printer that offers 3 layer printing that will hold up in the weather for backlit signs like the HP800W does. We tried it on our CET flatbed, but those...
  10. HP Latex 800W

They do say that you can add white to their SureColor printers, but it is a very milky white, and we have not found any practical applications to use it. Now that they have the resin printer out, we are hoping that they will be adding white to that in the near future! A white that will match...
  11. HP Latex 800W

A little late to the game here, but we have had 2 of the HP800W between our 2 locations. Nothing but nightmares from the start. We got it mainly because of the white capability and the 3 layer prints. We ended up returning one and buying 2 of the Epson R5070L. I would highly recommend the Epson...
