Looking to sub a job. 6"x36" decals for a LSE application. 3164HTG is spec'd. Requires 8mil gloss laminate (Substance or similar). Possibly 2000 decals.

Do you have a list of those bad cartridges? Do you know if it also included the 3 871's as well? I have been fighting the same issue with Yellow. Though I think I may have some air in the lines but it would be good to know.

FC8600 - It has to be something simple I am missing. I have a bunch of rectangular decals to print and cut. I want to butt them up and cut them as a grid instead of having the cutter cut each one out individually to save tons of cuts. I cannot see how to do this other than setting the entire job...

Thanks for the responses ... I printed solid Y and it started banding. Here is an example print showing it banding then eventually dropping out even more. Bottom of this print is the correct color. I am thinking air as well ... How can I purge the air? Haven't been able to find detailed...

Hello! Our 570 stops printing yellow ... or severely reduces yellow output after a few feet of printing. This happened soon after changing the large ink for both yellow and magenta. I can clearly see the banding and greys are purple/lavender. Replaced both YM printheads even though all tests...

Yeah .. we can find calendared in a lot of brands ... we need cast. 3m 8915 Ultramatte would work as well.

Ink Price Where are you finding this price for ink?

That is what we did and why we got them to replace the head ... perfect pattern prior to the switch ... had other issues with the ink/cartridges that contributed to the head failure .. all due to the 3rd party ink. UPDATE ... vendor is sending us another new head overnight ....

Should nozzle test always be 100% perfect? What is an acceptable amount of loss? None in my view but ... We are having issues with a 3rd party ink manufacturer and the head they replaced ... initial test after install of supposedly NEW head showed drop outs on 2 channels. Repeated soaks...
