For washability you would yes. You don't have to heat press it if you don't plan on doing washables.

I don't think that gen of ink will do this. You also should have the ink trays since many of these are porus fabrics. Great reason to upgrade! Lol

I have Duravibe swatches and it's really nice stuff. I have contacted them about getting sample rolls but have not heard back yet. Would really like to get some printed swatches going to market it.

This is awesome. But mostly because the only hobby I have is sewing/quilting and it makes me sad that I can't print my own fabric. I still can't since I don't have a latex machine, but maybe one day....
