700W Error 0021-0001-0090

After installing the new style Maintenance Cartridge I get this error

"Extract the maintenance cartridge and look for any external object or damage either to the cartridge itself or in its path."

I have done that and also did the encoder cleaning and looked at it in place. Everything look fine and printed the printhead nozzle check, looked fine but threw this error when curing and when okayed hung at 50%. Latest firmware. Printer was restarted.

Anybody know what is up with this?

There's a sensor on the right side of the maintenance cartridge "hangar". Check that it's straight not bent.
There's an upgraded version of the shield that it has. Your reseller probably has one for free for your unit, you should ask for it.

Also always make sure the waste container is pushed all the way in.

Sometimes just needed to re-insert it twice from the menu procedure.

One more thing, it's important to clean the steel rails as well. Gets janky and starts breaking stuff.

Not total sure of this, but it seems it may have something to do with the spring steel or the movement of the capping station. Not throwing the error anymore.
