Adobe Illustrator to Omega?

Please excuse what might be a dumb question!

I've been requested to print some small labels - just 3cms x 1.5cms. The design consists of just black on white has been provided in Adobe Illustrator format .ai

Is there a preferred way to get this into Omega?

Cheers

John

It's as simple as that just import instead of open.

P.S. It's not dumb at all, it's only easy if you know the answer

Actually, that isn't true. Importing and opening only differ in whether a new workspace is opened or the file is brought into an existing, already open workspace.

To open or import an Ai file into Omega,

  • Click on Open or Import as suits your need
  • Click on the "Files of Type" drop down menu and select the highest AI filter from the list that displays
  • Select the file to be opened or imported
  • Click the Open or Import button and follow the on-screen instructions
